This morning my mom & I spent a couple of hours at the mall ... navigating the double stroller through clothing racks, making sure Addison stays asleep, and keeping Noelle stocked with Cheerios is not something I attempt to do by myself. We were home by lunchtime but both of the girls were fast asleep when we got home, pretty normal for Addison, but not for Noelle!

Playdate

On Tuesday night, my buddy Jackson came over to play. He is 3 months older than I am. Isn't he handsome?

Me and Noelle wished that Grace would have been there to play with us too. We all miss her so badly. Please keep praying for her daddy and mommy, that God will heal their hearts and bring them hope and joy again soon!

For the Last Time, and the First Time

This weekend we went on our last camping trip of the summer, but our first camping trip as a family of four. We just couldn't stand to put the trailer in storage without going out one more time! The weekend couldn't have been better. The weather was perfect, sunny and very warm for September, but cool and crisp in the mornings and at night. The girls did great, Noelle loved playing "side" (outside) for a couple of days and Addison slept wonderfully in her pack-and-play so the rest of the family got good nights of rest too. I had been worried about how the nights would go as Addison is not sleeping through the night yet, but she ate quietly and went right back down without disturbing daddy and Noelle, whew!! We didn't camp with anyone else, which is unusual for us, but I really enjoyed having a few days to relax with the three people I love most! Who wants to eat veggies, when mommy has chips? :) I'm so big!!

Some of our friends from church came out for supper on Saturday night, not quite sure how Noelle ended up in the pack-and-play with Samuel, but she was giving him hugs and kisses, it was quite adorable!

Say Cheese!

I finally caught some of Addison's smiles on camera. She's been smiling for us several weeks now, more and more as time goes on but I haven't been able to get a picture until today. Her smiles just brighten my day, telling me 'life is good'! She'll be 6 weeks old tomorrow, and is already growing out of some of her 3 month clothes. They just grow up way too fast!

Introducing Kate!!!

Steve & Karin left for China on Monday and received Kathrin "Kate" Loren yesterday morning at 5:30 am, our time. I was checking my email constantly waiting for these pictures which came in this morning! Isn't she absolutely adorable? And her mommy and daddy couldn't look happier! Karin & I chat either on the phone or by email almost every day, so I am having a hard time with the fact that I can't talk to her now, when I have more to say and more questions than ever! :) Kate is about 8 months old now, born pretty much right in the middle of my two girls. We are so excited for the fun times they will share. Please pray for safety for Steve, Karin and Kate and that they will have an amazing time these next couple of weeks as they get to know eachother!

I of course had to have a picture of the girls in their sister shirts. But I need to remember that posing an infant and a 16 month old for the perfect photo is just not going to happen. After several shots that included Addison falling over, both girls covering up their shirts, even one of Noelle hitting Addison in the face, we came up with this one ... aren't they too cute? :)
