At 10 months, finally! We have late crawlers at our house, she actually beat her big sister by a month. For whatever reason, our girls were not highly motivated to get around on all fours. Addison has been doing the belly/army crawl for a few weeks now, and this week figured out that it is much easier to move with her hands and knees. It is so fun to watch her exploring the house, discovering things on her own. As you can see she is very proud of her accomplishment!

Two Year Pictures

We had one more photo session to do this spring, Noelle's two year pics. I wanted to do them outdoors and our photographer suggested Centennial Park. We had a fun time, even though Noelle wasn't being overly cooperative, but I wasn't really expecting her to sit still and smile either. My two year old doesn't do that. I was very happy with the results, I realized that you don't need a smile to make a cute picture!
Outdoor Fun
I think both of our girls would spend the entire day outside if I let them, I don't think I've ever met a kid who wouldn't agree with that statement. It is so nice to add variety to the day by going outdoors for a few hours. Mommy is excited to be going for walks again, and both of the girls look forward to it too - as long as we make a stop to visit the baby cows, Noelle reminds me of that every time I buckle her into the stroller. We've also had an exciting new additon to our backyard this year - a sandbox and swingset! I wanted a small sandbox for Noelle last summer, but Daddy said no, let's wait and do it right. So this was one of Daddy's many spring projects, thanks to lots of help from Grandpa and Uncle Brian. Noelle's favorite part is the sandbox, Addison loves to swing. Whenever we put Addison near sand or dirt it always ends up in her mouth and all over her face so we let her swing while Noelle plays in the sand, it's a good arrangement. Here are a bunch of pics of our outdoor fun ....
