Punta Cana

We're back! Matt and I enjoyed a wonderful week of relaxing in the sun, walking on the beach, sleeping in, and spending time with just eachother. We missed the girls tons of course, and seeing them again gave us something to look forward to on the trip home. We had great weather, sunny skies every day with just a few quick rainshowers all week.

Dinner at an Oriental restaurant, Matt ate most of his meal with the chopsticks, I wasn't up to the challenge. :)

Headed for a day on the beach

Whenever we go on vacation, we like to take a long walk on the beach after breakfast. This was our first time in Punta Cana, it had the most beautiful beach we'd ever seen. Nothing but white sand for miles!

I wish I could say we built this ... we came across it on one of our walks, looked like a good photo opportunity.

Best Buds

I know that someday we will be dealing with sibling rivalry (what family doesn't!) but for now we are just enjoying how much the girls are in love with eachother. It is so fun to watch them lie on the floor and giggle together and to see each of them light up when their sister comes over to play. Noelle is so proud of her little sister and loves to help take care of her. They do have thier moments ... there are times that Noelle feels it is time for Addison go ni-night and Addison can get a bit irritated with how long it takes Noelle to eat her lunch. Last week's big milestone was Noelle finally saying 'Addison' instead of 'baby'. I love watching their relationship develop, from day one they have been the best of friends, I hope this never changes!
