Memorial Day Weekend

The week sure does go by fast, it's Thursday already and I am just getting around to posting pictures from the weekend. We had such a great time, I didn't want to miss sharing. It was our first camping trip of the season, we went with Dad and Mom, Steve, Karin & Kate, and Uncle Jack and Aunt Jan. We stayed in Hart, which has become the traditional Memorial Day destination. The weather was beautiful, warm and sunny, so we were able to spend pretty much the entire time outdoors - what a blessing, being stuck in the trailer with two little girls who want nothing but to be outside would just drive all of us stir crazy! The girls were so good, we had fun as a family, and I am looking forward to going again soon!

Kate's water table was a hit with both Noelle and Addison

Addison loved having her own personal play space, the tent was one of her favorite places to be

We went for LOTS of walks and bike rides

Soaking in the sun

Next to playing outside, I think coloring is Noelle's favorite activity

I think she read more of the magazine than mommy did

Maybe by the end of summer Addison will be running around with the big girls too! She doesn't mind watching from the sidelines though, and probably having only one to chase around is a good thing!

9 Month Pictures

Not one single shot without a smile, our photo session couldn't have gone any better. She is such a sweetheart, I can't believe how fast she is growing up!

Dandelion Fest

Of course we had to spend Saturday morning at Borculo's Dandelion Festival. I always enjoy going because I know most of the people there, and some of them I don't run into very often. It keeps getting bigger every year and offers so many fun things for the kids. Last year Noelle couldn't really do anything other than watch the parade, but this year she could participate in some of the activities sponsored by Borculo CRC. She got to play a few games, like bean bag toss, choosing a duck out of the pond, and sucker tree, but the highlight of her day was definitely the pony ride.

Waiting for the parade to start, the girls got to sit with their cousins Jaden, Josiah, and Kate

The Dandelion Parade is always good for lots of candy and prizes!

I have been wanting to get some pics of the girls together in their Easter dresses and we finally made it to Sears this week to get that done. Here are the results, you just can't have real high expectations when trying to get a 2 year old and a 9 month old to smile at the same time! I think we ended up getting a few keepers though.
