Fun in the Sun!

We have been loving this summertime weather that has finally arrived. That means time to play in the water!! Noelle got this fun caterpillar sprinkler for her birthday that she has been dying to try out.

Addison wasn't real impressed with the concept.

Last night daddy picked up a pool on his way home from work, we'll see if the hard plastic variety has a longer life span than last year's inflatable one.

Little sister's revenge!!

Looking Forward to November!

All of our closest friends received an announcement in the mail this week with this photo on it
Addison really has no concept of what her shirt means, she just knows she loves babies, but Noelle is very excited about her baby in mommy's tummy. She just has no concept of how LONG it's going to be before we get to meet him or her. I am due on November 23 and so far am feeling good other than being extra tired. Had an ultrasound at my appointment a couple of weeks ago and everything looks great so far so we are very thankful for that. Please pray with us for another good pregnancy and healthy baby!

Tulip Time

Yesterday we headed downtown for the parade to see my nephew Jacob and his band. It was a beautiful day for a parade, even it was a tad chilly. Grandma, Gabe and Ty came with us and the girls really enjoyed themselves, I was a little worried they'd be sick of it after 15 minutes, but they were well behaved for the entire parade, despite missing naptime for the day! I was also thrilled to have Dutch costumes for the girls, this is the first year I've dressed them up. My sister-in-law called me this week to tell me she had costumes in each of the girls' sizes, would I want to borrow them for some pictures? Thanks so much Auntie Karin and Kate, the girls were both so excited to wear their special dresses. So after the parade we stopped at the Park for a photo shoot. I had two very distracted subjects, so not the smiling, posed pictures I had in mind, but cute nonetheless. :)
Can't go downtown without having an elephant ear, thanks for the special treat grandma!
