What a wonderful weekend ... remembering Christ's sacrifice and celebrating his victory over death, so that we can have forgiveness and eternal life. Can't think of any better reason to celebrate! We attended some great worship services and the kids enjoyed some fun Easter activities as well. Saturday morning was Uncle Steve and Auntie Karin's annual Easter Egg Hunt. It was rather chilly, but at least it wasn't raining this year!

Easter Weekend
Happy 4th Birthday!
Last week we celebrated Noelle's 4th birthday. Just can't believe how quickly she is growing up, can't call her my baby or even a toddler anymore, she is my little lady who can't wait to start school in the fall. As they get older, the more they understand what birthdays are all about, and we had been anxiously awaiting this day for a couple of months! I gave her a few different birthday cake choices, and the second she saw the princess castle cake she knew that was what she wanted, I wasn't a bit surprised. :) I definitely have not mastered the skill of cake decorating, but the birthday girl loved it and that's what counts, right?
We had a fun day celebrating, so thankful for the joy she brings to our family!

Our Littlest Princess
Noelle & Addison love to play dress-up with their collection of princess dresses, they also love playing with their Bitty Babies, especially changing their clothes. So, I should not have been surprised when Noelle says, 'Mommy, look!' and I turn around to see this. Life would be so boring for her without her big sisters around!

Happy Birthday a Little Early
Cause when daddy has a surprise, he just can't keep it to himself for long! :) We had decided to give the girls a mini Gator for their birthdays this year, Noelle turns four in a couple of weeks, so we had talked about about giving it to them then, but daddy brought it home last week and of course they were driving it around the next day. Noelle, our cautious child, does quite well driving it ... Addison likes to live on the edge, she drives with no hands. They are thrilled with it of course and were busy the first day cleaning up the yard for daddy, filling up the back with sticks and anything else that doesn't belong in the grass.
