Last week was our annual camping trip to Lake Mitchell State Park in Cadillac with Matt's parents, his brother Dave and his family, and lots of church friends. We spent our days sleeping in and staying up late, going for walks and bike rides, playing at the beach and the park, boating, fishing, reading, and sitting around the campfire. A great week as always!
The water was usually pretty cold, in my opinion, but the kids didn't seem to mind
This was Addison's first time at the beach, she loved sitting and splashing at the edge of the water
She also loves riding on Daddy's shoulders
There is a really fun park just a short bike ride from the campground
We had sunny afternoons most days so we could go to the beach between lunch and naptime

Our group has a potluck supper every night, probably the best eating we do all year!
You would think after tasting the sand once, it would be the last time, but she just keeps going back for more!
Noelle loves her boat rides, especially when it includes a stop for ice cream!
This was Addison's first time on the boat, wasn't real thrilled about the life jacket though
