We had a fabulous time at the Double JJ Ranch this past weekend with the whole Nienhuis family. We arrived on Saturday just before lunchtime and spent the afternoon and the next morning at the indoor waterpark. Pregnant women and small children are not allowed on the slides so the girls and I missed out on that part, but we kept busy floating around the lazy river and playing in the kid zone.
This is a giant water gun that attacks people coming out of the lazy river, since we did TONS of laps around the river, we were often victims. She may look innocent, but Noelle got in a few shots of her own too.
Saturday night we went to the pig roast and rodeo and explored a little more of the ranch.
I haven't been to a rodeo probably since Matt and I were dating and we really enjoyed this one. There was a lot of audience participation. Here the guys are chasing calves, trying to get a ribbon off of their tails.
The kids got to go into the arena too, to search for candy in a pile of hay. Here is Addison showing off some of her winnings.
Our girls have been blessed with an amazing set of cousins, any one of them will do pretty much anything Noelle or Addison asks them to do. Here is Addison turning up the charm, trying to sweet talk Jaden into some of his candy.
