I am realizing that being the busy mom of three little girls, I have been taking less and less of those everyday pictures. On the one hand, maybe there is hope of catching up on my scrapbooking someday, but on the other hand I love looking back at pictures and just remembering. My friend Kathy challenged herself to posting every day for a month, love that idea, but seeing as I uploaded these pictures a few weeks ago and am now just finishing this post, I am obviously not up to that sort of challenge myself. :) What I like most about that idea is documenting the everyday things of life. An average day right now is going to look a lot different than an average day 6 months from now and a year from now. So it may very well be 6 months before I do this again, but here is what a day in winter of 2011 looks like ...

Emma usually gets her bath in the morning, evenings get pretty crazy trying to squeeze supper, baths and bedtime routines into a two hour time frame, nice to have one child clean already!

Noelle rarely goes a day without wearing a tu-tu or a princess dress over her clothes and loves to wear her hair in piggy tails

Making grilled cheese a bit more fun

Both girls enjoy coloring and crafts, but my Addison just LOVES to color right now. We just leave the crayons and coloring books right on the kitchen table for her. Markers were a special treat today, used only under mommy's supervision. :)

Helping mommy fold laundry, they are such wonderful little helpers

Big sisters are sleeping, mommy is enjoying some one on one time with Emma

It's probably been a couple months already now, but Addison has moved to her new bed downstairs. She did so well transitioning from her crib to a big girl bed, we moved her to her new bedroom a couple of weeks later. The girls just love sharing a room, it's so fun to listen to them chattering away before they settle down to sleep.
