Easter Weekend

What a wonderful weekend ... remembering Christ's sacrifice and celebrating his victory over death, so that we can have forgiveness and eternal life. Can't think of any better reason to celebrate! We attended some great worship services and the kids enjoyed some fun Easter activities as well. Saturday morning was Uncle Steve and Auntie Karin's annual Easter Egg Hunt. It was rather chilly, but at least it wasn't raining this year!

Notice my little snacker Addison starting on her first piece of candy already

Too little to hunt yet, but Emma still came along to watch the excitement

I promised Addison she could have a piece of candy when she woke up from her nap, and she was asking for it the second she got up. But after she chose a piece and sat down at the table, she needed to rest for a few more minutes. :)

Sunday morning, all dressed up, checking out their Easter baskets from daddy and mommy

Our sweet little spitter can never have too many bibs!

The little flower pots and seeds were a hit with big sisters

And then for the challenge of trying to get a nice picture of all three girls together ... I posted a couple of them as it never fails that they each have a different best picture

After church we headed to my parents for lunch, and the girls got some more Easter basket goodies
